This piece began as I listened to my husband jam some music with his friends, but it was so dark in that room I had to redo it, some of the first designs can still be seen peeping through this multi-layered piece. In fact this painting was also another piece before that, so this is now its third and final rendition.
I created this small piece along with 4 other abstracts (or simi-abstracts) as a way of taking the pressure off! I just wanted to wake up and go straight to painting without any need to think. Usually I can't think straight when I first wake up anyways.
Abstracts are so enjoyable and clear my mind! Plus they are so easy! It's always nice to create for the sake of creating without any need to portray something. Good for the first act of the day!
