Earlier this summer I pressed this wildflower, which is a Mariposa-lily. (as pictured below)

I wasn't sure what I would do with the flower, but after a friend taught me how to use resin, I decided I'd try out a carefree collage. Here you can see I cut and painted paper to create a landscape - to infuse our minds with peace as nature so easily does!

There is also Mica Rock embedded in this piece. I found the rock while out hiking.

I titled this piece “In that Moment I Could Finally See” because when I was out enjoying these flowers, I was at the same time having a very intense and deep psychoactive trip which proved to be pivotal on my journey. Of course, it wasn’t all sunshine and lilies, it proved to be so pivotal because I started to have a habitual panic attack, yet I could see it in a different light. Rather see myself from a new perspective. I was very very afraid of continuing on with the attack and genuinely felt in danger. But in hindsight I can now see that like all the times of attacks, I have not actually been in danger, more so afraid of falling into the trap of my mind.

Do you feel Clear?

Do you feel Grounded in Reality?

What kind of mantra could you repeat to yourself this weekend that could keep you grounded in who you are?

Is there any time you could carve out to listen to the silence and connect with your own clarity?

I have a lot of blog posts I have published on the topic of mental health and my experiences with anxiety.
