Dismiss Fear with a Laugh, a poem.

I will not be controlled by the things I fear

I have plenty of reasons to be laughing endlessly before you

Close your eyes long enough to see the laugh within your own heart

I have endless things to laugh about

And music to sing to

I leap boundlessly through fearful rock piles

Leaping from one stepping stone of hope to the next

Gathering the courageous energy always at hand

Swirling around me

And around every stepping stone and rock in the pile

I have control over each leap and bound

The fact that I take the first step

And the times I choose to get back up when I fall

Or to keep searching when I'm lost

I have control of my own laughs

And the things I choose to laugh about

I choose to laugh about it all

I have the last word

When fear comes over for tea

The last laugh

When it breaks all my tea cups and dares me to clean up

I’ll dismiss fear in that time

I'll dismiss fear with a laugh
